Meteor Garden will have a remake in 2018. This was announced on the 16th year anniversary of it's airing in Taiwan. The same producer, Angie Chai, will also helm the planned remake. Her previous male acquaintances suddenly see her in a different light but problem is, she's not interested with the boys. She is more into shipping boys with other boys. This is the anime that is closest to reminding me of Ouran High School Host Club with the anything goes style in highschool and with the otaku related activities which make it more relatable. I also learned a lot such as the difference in shipping of whose character is more dominant. It's been a long time since I watched a shoujo highschool anime sans supernatural or fantasy elements. Its fun, laidback and easy to watch. Shiroi Furukawa's manga, Five, will have a live action drama this summer. From ANN via Heart of Manga.  The original manga follows Hina, who has repeatedly transferred schools due to her father's job, and has always dreamed of a normal high-school life. At her new school, however, she finds that her class is comprised solely of guys. On top of that, five mischievous boys from her class have taken a liking to her.
